The plane ride from Sydney to Shanghai took over 8 hours, one of the longest plane rides I've ever taken as I've never taken an international flight before. As we approached the city I could see it was covered by a thick layer of smog from all the pollution. Stepping outside the plane gave the feeling of being surrounded by a thin blanket the air was so humid. After we had our bags checked in we met our tour guide Sexy Steve, was a cool dude. Our next stop was the hotel we would be staying in that night, it was amazing, nice view, free slippers and nightgowns. After grabbing some food to eat we then went to sleep for the night.
